The science: why one size fits none
AG1, Ritual, and Blueprint ship the same formula to everyone. A 22-year-old endurance athlete and a 65-year-old on a statin get the identical scoop. That isn't a manufacturing detail — it's the core flaw. Nutrient needs are set by your biology: your bloodwork, your medications, your genetics, your training load, your age. A formula that ignores all of that is guessing, and the same guess can't be right for two different people.
What the evidence actually shows
Decades of clinical research point the same direction: the benefit of a supplement depends on baseline status. Vitamin D supplementation moves outcomes in people who are deficient and does little for people who are already replete. Omega-3 dosing tracks to your Omega-3 Index, not to a one-size capsule. Magnesium, B12, iron, and CoQ10 all show the same pattern — the right dose is a function of where you're starting from. Blanket dosing overshoots some people and underserves others.
How Ones personalizes the formula
- Read your data. An AI health consultation reviews your goals, medications, and sensitivities, plus any bloodwork you upload (Function Health, Quest, LabCorp, InsideTracker) and connected wearable data (Oura, Whoop, Fitbit, Apple Watch).
- Map findings to ingredients. Specific markers drive specific choices — low Vitamin D, elevated ApoB, a low Omega-3 Index, poor HRV or sleep each point to different actives at different doses.
- Compose one daily supplement. The result is a 6- or 9-capsule daily formula drawn from a catalog of 70+ clinical-grade ingredients, each with the reasoning and citation written next to it.
- Adapt over time. Upload new labs and the formula updates on the next cycle. Your biology changes; the formula should too.
Clinical doses, bioavailable forms
- Form over milligrams. Magnesium glycinate (~40% absorbed) beats magnesium oxide (~4%) at the same label dose. Ubiquinol is the bioactive form of CoQ10; K2 MK-7 has a 72-hour half-life versus 4 hours for K1.
- Trial-level dosing. KSM-66 Ashwagandha at 600mg, not the 200mg most shelf bottles ship. Doses calibrated to what the studies actually used.
- Nothing decorative. Every ingredient earns its place against a finding in your data.
Reviewed and grounded
Ones formulas are reviewed for clinical dose appropriateness, and our health content is overseen by the Ones research team led by Jared Murray, a nutritionist with 25+ years of clinical practice. Ones is not a substitute for prescription medication or for a relationship with your physician — it is the personalized daily supplement layer between the two.
